ESL Summer Camp in William Smith Colleges (HWS), New York

ESL Summer Camp at Hobart and William Smith Colleges (HWS) is an on-campus residential camp for Vietnamese secondary and high school students from Vietnam (ages ranging from 10-17).

 

It is a 2 week program that offers ESL classes 5 mornings each week with educational and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings.


Located on 195 acres in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes Region, the HWS campus provides safe and ideal setting for variety of educational opportunities such as mini-college sessions in photography and environment taught by HWS professors, campus tours, and life skill lessons, and recreational summer activities such as soccer, swimming, football, zumba, tennis, and concerts.


ESL Summer Camp at HWS is dedicated to providing student campers with an unforgettable experience in a college environment. ESL classes are taught by certified ESL teachers who follow a curriculum designed for Vietnamese students at different levels of English knowledge.   Camp counselors are mature and responsible undergraduate students who also serve as positive role models for our campers.

In 2 weeks campers will enhance their English and learn about life in the United States,have opportunities to make new friends, improve their sense of independence, learn about college life and education, and visit world-class attractions such as Niagara Falls, Corning Museum of Glass, Rochester Museum of Science and hiking the Watkins Glen Gorge trail.
