Scholarships for International Students in Developing Countries

A scholarship programme is often created to reward students who have worked hard in their career path. Every year prominent Universities and organizations fund scholarships for the students of developing countries to fulfill their dreams of studying at home and overseas for shaping their career perfectly.

 

These scholarships are both fully funded and partially funded. Below weaved list of scholarships for students of developing countries includes all academic levels as undergraduate, graduate, masters, doctoral and postdoctoral students.


Islamic Development Bank Prize for Women
Applications are invited for IDB Prize available for both individuals and organizations. The prize aims to recognize the essential role of women in managing water resources and thereby, improving the economic and social conditions of their communities. The Prize consists of two cash awards-U.S. $ 50,000 for a woman or a group of women and U.S. $ 100,000 for an organization. To be eligible, women candidate should be engage in activities and /or reside in one of the IDB member countries or in a Muslim community in non-member countries. The closing date for application is 30 November, 2014.

2015 Commonwealth Medical Fellowships in UK
UK Department for International Development (DFID) is inviting applications for Medical fellowships available for doctors and dentists from Developing Commonwealth Countries. These fellowships are for mid-career clinical staff to learn a new medical or dental skill, to practise the new medical or dental skill, and to network with others in the same and related specialties. Awards are tenable for between three months and six months at any approved UK University Hospital; experience suggests that a minimum of 4 months is sensible. The EAS will close to all applicants on 3 December 2014.

World Citizen Talent Scholarships for Non-EEA Students
Hague University offers talent scholarships for international (Non-EEA) students. Students from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Surinam are also not eligible. 54 scholarships each worth EUR 5,000 are available to prospective bachelor degree students. Scholarships each worth EUR 5,000 are available to prospective bachelor degree students for the 2015-2016 academic year. The application deadline is 31 March 2015.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships in UK, 2015-2016
Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSC) in partnership with UK universities offers Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries. Shared Scholarships are usually tenable for one-year Master’s courses only. Candidates are recruited and selected by UK host universities in the first instance. Selection criteria include: the academic merit of the candidate, as well as the likely impact of their work on the development of their home country. The EAS will close to applicants on 16 April 2015 and no further applications can be submitted after that date.

Commonwealth Academic Fellowships for Mid-Career Academics in UK, 2015
Applications are invited for Commonwealth academic fellowships available for mid-career academics from developing Commonwealth countries. These fellowships enable fellows to spend three months to network and update knowledge and skills related to their academic subject and responsibilities at any approved UK university or higher education institution. The CSC also invites alumni who held Commonwealth Scholarships for PhD to apply directly to the CSC for a Commonwealth Academic Fellowship. All eligible alumni will be sent a letter with details of how to apply. All applications must be made through your nominating university/university body in applicants’ home country. The deadline for applications is 3 December 2014.

Chevening Scholarships for International Students, 2015
Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations fund Chevening scholarships for pursuing full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree at any UK university. Scholarships are awarded to the citizens of a Chevening country. The programme provides full or part funding to cover the tuition fees, a living allowance at a set rate (for one individual), an economy class return airfare to the UK and additional grants to cover essential expenditure. The application deadline is 15 November 2014.

Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships, 2015
Schlumberger Foundation is offering Faculty for the Future Fellowships to pursue PhD or postdoctoral studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines at leading universities abroad. Fellowships are awarded to female citizens of a developing country or emerging economy. Grants can be up to USD 50,000 per year for PhD courses and a maximum of USD 40,000 for Post-Doc programs. The application deadline for the year 2015–2016 Faculty for the Future Fellowships is November 14th, 2014.

Japanese Government Scholarships for Developing Countries
Scholarships for developing countries are available for pursuing undergraduate degree at Japanese universities. Applicants must either have completed a 12-year regular course of school education or have graduated from a school equivalent to an upper secondary school in Japan. The deadline of the applications differs according to the country. Please contact with Japanese embassy or consulate general in your country.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for developing countries students are available to undertake postdoctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of the natural sciences. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

ISN Fellowship Program for Developing Countries’ Students
Fellowship program provides relevant and contemporary nephrology training to physicians. Applicants must have been nominated by a Home Mentor and their Home Institution must guarantee their re-employment once training has been completed. ISN Fellowship grants are awarded on the condition that Fellows return to their respective home countries within three months after completion of the training. The application deadlines are December 15 or June 15.

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Developing countries fellowships cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must prove knowledge of Spanish or provide a certificate of proficiency in English. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is available for young scientists from Developing countries. BIOTEC will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applicants must apply for the fellowship within five years of having obtained a PhD degree. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

Japan-WCO Human Resource Development Scholarship for Developing Countries
Scholarships for developing countries are awarded to undertake Master’s level studies at the Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU) in Tokyo, Japan. A candidate must be in good health and preferably under 40 years of age as of April 1, 2015. The maximum number of students for the SMIPRP course is approximately 10. This scholarship is for one academic year starting from April. Application deadline is 21st August, 2014 for getting an ID and password and last date for receipt of the Application Forms is 28th August 2014.

TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Fellowship for Developing Countries
Applications are invited for developing countries fellowship awarded to young scientists who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in physical sciences. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences. The deadline for applications is 15th September 2014.

SFIAR Awards for Developing Countries Students in Switzerland
The Swiss Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) is offering award in agricultural research.  The prize sum of the SFIAR Award is CHF 5’000 for a PhD or Post Doc project and CHF 10’000 for a team project. Applications must be submitted by 15th July 2014.

TWAS-SN Bose Developing Countries Fellowship
Developing countries fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry. Applications must be submitted by 31 August 2014.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for Developing Countries Students
Developing countries fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness. Applicants must provide a certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for developing countries students are available for undertaking postdoctoral programme at Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology. TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at IROST. Last date of submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

ICO Three-Month Fellowships in Ophthalmology
Fellowships provide young ophthalmologists with exposure to and training in several subspecialties in ophthalmology. Applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of applying. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses. The application deadline is September 30 each year.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
Developing countries fellowships are obtainable for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications will close on 15th September 2014.

ICTP Master Developing Countries Scholarships
Developing countries scholarships are available for pursuing master degree level. ICTP will also cover travel costs and course fees for a limited number of successful candidates from developing countries who are not awarded the full scholarship. These masters’ scholarships are offered for two years master program starting from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2016. Online application deadline is August 31, 2014.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Developing countries students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. Closing date for submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

INSA JRD-Tata Fellowship Programme for Developing Countries Students
The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) offers fellowship programme for developing countries students. Around 10 fellowships are awarded annually. The maximum period of award will be for three months. Selection is based on the recommendations of a committee consisting of eminent scientists. Last date of submitting applications is 31st October 2014.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Fellowships for developing countries students are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

TÜBITAK Graduate Scholarship Programme
Applications are invited for TÜBITAK graduate scholarship available for the citizens of least developed countries. Applicants who hold a Bachelor’s degree or who are currently enrolled in their fourth year of college are eligible to apply for scholarship for the MSc/MA programs.  Applications will be accepted twice a year. Application starts from 13 January 2014 to 28 February 2014 and 4 August 2014 to 12 September 2014.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme available for Developing countries students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance. The application deadline is 31st August 2014.

Reach Oxford Scholarship for Students from Developing Countries at University of Oxford, UK
A number of Reach Oxford scholarships (formerly Oxford Student Scholarships) are offered to students from low income countries who, for political or financial reasons, or because suitable educational facilities do not exist, cannot study for a degree in their own countries. Scholarship Application Deadline: 15 October annually.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for Developing Countries Students
Fellowships for developing countries are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August 2014.

Scholarship for Developing Countries in Nigeria
Undergraduate and Masters Scholarship program for national and international students to study at University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Applicants must meet admission requirements of Master programme of the University i.e.  Second Class Honours, (Upper Division) or the equivalent in the bachelor degree. Scholarship Application Deadline: Before of 27th September annually.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Nigeria

TWAS-CAS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Developing Countries Applicants, China
TWAS-CAS Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme For young scientists from developing countries (other than China) who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in China though the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. Scholarship Application Deadline: 31 August annually.

Newcastle University Nigeria Scholarships for Postgraduate Students, UK
The International Office is delighted to announce 2 Newcastle University Nigeria Scholarship (NU Nigeria Scholarship) awards for postgraduate taught degree or research programmes within the Faculties of Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences (FMS) commencing their studies in September 2013. Scholarship Application Deadline: 30th June 2013 (annually).

Edinburgh Global Health Academy Masters Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is accepted for admission onto an eligible Global Health Academy programme at the University of Edinburgh. The scholarship will cover the UK/EU “home” rate of tuition fee of up to £7,800. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent. The application deadline is 30 May 2014.

International Students House funded Postgraduate Scholarship for Students from Developing or Emerging Countries to study at a publicly funded tertiary level educational institution in London, UK. Scholarship Application Deadline: 30th May.

Janssen Phamaceutica Scholarships for Developing Countries
King’s College London & the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are offering scholarships for pursuing MSc in Global Mental Health. A strong preference will be given to applicants who are nationals of and have been ordinarily resident in, low- and middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank) for the last three years. Each scholarship will cover full overseas tuition fees and a living expense stipend of £14,000.The application deadline is 1st May 2014.

UNU-ISP PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries
Scholarships for developing countries are available for pursuing PhD degree at United Nations University. Applicants must have completed Master’s degree in disciplines related to sustainability studies. A GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale on at least one of the Master’s degrees must be earned. Scholarships for developing countries will be offered for a maximum of 36 months. The application deadline is 30th April 2014.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship at University of Nottingham, UK
The University of Nottingham UK Campus offers Master’s Scholarships in the field of Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences, Science, Environment, Science & Society, Health and Operations Management for Africa, India or Students of  Commonwealth Countries in UK. Scholarship Application Deadline: 26th April 2013 (annually).

University of Edinburgh Southern African Scholarships at University of Edinburgh, UK
University of Edinburgh offers Postgraduate Scholarships to study any subject offered by the University to students from Southern African countries. Scholarship Application Deadline: 26 April 2013 (annually).

Wellcome Trust Doctoral Studentships for Developing Countries
This scheme enables scholars to undertake up to three years of full-time research leading to a doctoral degree at a university in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Very small numbers of Doctoral Studentships are awarded each year. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a subject that’s relevant to the Medical Humanities. Application should be submitted till 2 April 2014.

The Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarships for Tanzanian Students at University of Edinburgh, UK
The University of Edinburgh will offer three scholarships to students from Tanzania for postgraduate Master’s study in any subject offered by the University for the 2013-2014 academic session. Scholarship Application Deadline: 1 April 2013 annually.

Arturo Falaschi ICGEB Postdoctoral Fellowships
Fellowships are awarded for postdoctoral research programme at the ICGEB laboratories located in Trieste and Monterotondo (Italy), New Delhi (India) and Cape Town (South Africa). Applicants must be nationals of an ICGEB Member State and may not apply for fellowships to be undertaken in the country of their origin. Preference will be given to candidates below the age of 35. Applications should be sent till 31 March 2014.

Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Developing Countries
Marshal Papworth Trust is offering scholarships for developing countries’ students. MSc & MA scholarships vary in value from £14,500 to £21,500 depending on location and chosen university/College. The scholarships are designed to fund the majority of tuition fees, living expenses and travel costs. Marshal Papworth scholarship fund one-year postgraduate courses such as MSc or MA. 24th March 2014 is application deadline.

International Climate Protection Fellowships for Developing Countries
Up to 20 International Climate Protection Fellowships are granted annually for a period of one year in Germany. The amount of fund includes a mobility lump sum and a contribution towards health and liability insurance. Applicants must demonstrate clearly visible leadership potential based either on experience in initial leadership positions or on appropriate references. Online application will be submitted by 15 March 2014.

Doctoral Scholarships for Candidates from Developing Countries at University of Ghent, Belgium
University of Ghent funded Scholarships for PhD Students from Developing Countries, who wish to carry out half of their PhD research at Ghent University and half in a university in a developing country. Scholarship Application Deadline: 7 March 2013 (annually).

BOF Doctoral Scholarships for Developing countries
Scholarships are available for PhD students who wish to carry out half of their PhD research at Ghent University and half at a university in a developing country. The scholarship is offered for 24 months and will be divided into several periods within a span of 4 years. Students are advised to stay for long periods in Ghent (e.g. 1 year). Application should be submitted till March 4, 2014.

University of Groningen Talent Grant
Grant is awarded to students who have been admitted to one of the Faculty of Arts Research Master’s Programmes. Grant is provided in the field of Art History and Archaeology, Classical Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Literary and Cultural Studies. The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme. Application should be submitted till 1st March, 2014.

RNTC Fellowships for Developing Countries
RNTC’s Fellowships are available for professional journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers. RNTC Fellowships are unlike NFP fellowships Partial: they cover the course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation. The fellowships will be awarded on academic and professional merit. Deadlines vary according to the subjects.

Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Developing Countries
The Humboldt Foundation grants up to 80 Georg Forster Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers from developing and emerging countries. Applicants must have completed PhD or comparable academic degree (PhD, C.Sc. or equivalent), for no more than four years the date of application. Applications may be submitted any time from 1.7.2013 until mid-2015.

Call for Researchers: KFPE’s Learning Events Programme
The applications are invited for pursuing research programme. The total available amount of CHF 150’000 will be allocated to 3-4 projects. Applications must show that the proposed learning event is embedded in a research partnership project or programme. Learning events must last from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 1 month. The deadline for applications is 28th February 2014.

TWAS Prizes for Developing Countries’ Scientists
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is awarding eight prizes of USD 15,000 each to individual scientists. Selection of the awardees is made on scientific merit and on the recommendations of the selection committees composed of TWAS members. Nominations of women scientists are particularly encouraged. Applications will close on 28th February 2014.

JFUNU Scholarships for Developing Countries Students in Japan
The scholarships and assistantships available from UNU-ISP are very limited. Only highly qualified candidates from developing countries who can demonstrate the need for financial assistance will be considered for UNU-ISP financial support. Scholarship Application Deadline: Do submit your applications till 28 February, 2014.

Graduate Global Leadership Fellowship for Developing Countries Students at UBC, Canada
The University of British Columbia funded Graduate Global Leadership Fellowships enable promising leaders from developing countries to pursue doctoral studies at UBC. Applicants must hold a student visa at the beginning of the fellowship funding period. Scholarship Application Deadline: February 2014.

Scholarships for University Graduates Coming from European Neighbourhood Policy Countries, Europe
The EU (European Commission/DG Education and Culture) offers a large number of scholarships to university graduates coming from European Neighbourhood Policy countries for post-graduate studies at the College of Europe (Bruges or Natolin (Warsaw) campus) during the academic year 2012-2013. The countries concerned are: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine. Scholarship Application Deadline: 1st February 2014.

MIDS-Managed Scholarships for Developing Countries
Ten scholarships are available for students admitted for the MIDS LL.M. programme. These scholarships cover the total tuition fees as well as CHF 15,000 toward living expenses during the 10 months of the program. MIDS also be able to arrange for partial scholarships. Candidates must come from a developing country. Application should be submitted till 31st January 2014.

The Felix Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries [85% for Indians], UK
One Felix Scholarship will be available to a Non-Indian student who is a citizen of and living in a developing country to pursue a research degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees at the international rate and provides around £12,316 for living expenses. Scholarship Application Deadline: 31 January 2013.

United Nations/Japan Long-term Fellowship Programme on Nano-Satellite Technologies
The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Government of Japan in cooperation with the Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT) have established a United Nations/Japan Long-term Fellowship Programme on Nano-Satellite Technologies for nationals of developing countries or countries with economy in transition, 2012 Japan. Scholarship Application Deadline: 27 January 2014.

Tibet Scholarship at Central European University, Hungary
Central European University is pleased to announce a scholarship for Tibetan students to study toward any MA or MS degree at CEU.Only applicants who are offered admission to CEU will be considered for Tibet Scholarship. Scholarship Application Deadline: January 23, 2014.

IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarships in UK
Islamic Development Bank and the University of Oxford funded the combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship for Graduate Students in the field of MPLS, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences at University of Oxford, 2012 UK. Scholarship Application Deadline: 6 January each year for Medical Sciences and Philosophy; 20 January each year for all other subjects.

Global Change Leaders Scholarship Program for Developing Countries
The Coady International Institute St. Francis Xavier University is offering global change leaders scholarship program in Canada. Applicant must hold a university degree or a combination of post-secondary education and experience. English language proficiency is required. Women must hold a university degree or a combination of post-secondary education and experience. Application deadline is January 17, 2014.

US/Canada Grants for Students of Developing Countries
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is offering award for women applicants of developing countries to pursue their degree in the USA and Canada. For students from developing countries who are currently studying in the United States or Canada, the MMMF awards grants of approximately $12,000 each; grants are not renewable. Online application deadline is January 15, 2014.

IRO Doctoral Scholarship for Developing Countries Students in Belgium
As one of its contributions to development co-operation, KU Leuven offers each academic year scholarships to deserving students from developing countries to do their PhD in the largest university in Flanders, Belgium. Also commonly referred to as the IRO scholarships (IRO in Dutch stands for Interfacultaire Raad voor Ontwikkelingssamenwerking), this scholarship programme has supported more than sixty Ph.D. graduates over the past five years. Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowships for Developing Countries
International Peace Research Association Foundation offers graduate fellowships for Women in the USA. Two fellowships are offered for two years. The Dorothy Senesh Fellowship is available to women from developing countries that have completed a Bachelor’s degree. Awards are considered based on need; therefore students with substantial funding sources are less likely to be considered for the award. The application deadline is January 15, 2014.

The Daniel Turnberg UK/Middle East Travel Fellowship Scheme
Daniel Turnberg Memorial Fund, Royal College of Physicians, London, Wellcome Trust and Wolfson Family Charitable Trust funded Travel Fellowship for Medical researchers and bio scientists in the field of biomedical. Scholarship Application Deadline: 15 January 2014.

Mathematics Research Fellowships for Developing Countries
These visiting Fellowships are open to mathematicians for pursuing research programme at ICTP. Fellowships are intended for short visits to ICTP (typically between 1 to 3 months) during the period: 1 September 2014 – 31 August 2015 though longer visits (up to 12 months) are possible. The deadline for applications is 15 January 2014.

WWF Prince Bernhard Scholarships for Developing Countries
Applications from candidates doing multiple-year studies will only be considered if the applicant is applying for support for the last year of studies. Training scholarship amount includes course fees, books, travel and living expenses. Mid career training up to a maximum of one year are offered. Last date of submitting applications is 11 January 2014.

Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program Scholarships in Canada
ELAP Scholarships provide students with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels. As part of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program, select graduate-level students will be invited to participate in a study tour focused on Canadian democratic governance and civil society or other key priority areas. Aga Khan International Scholarship for Postgraduate Students from Developing Countries
Aga Khan Foundation funded International Scholarship for Master’s and PhD Students from Developing Countries to study at Abroad. Preference is given to students under 30 years of age. Half of the scholarship amount is considered as a loan, which must be reimbursed with an annual service charge of 5%. Applications for the 2014-15 academic year will be available starting January 2014.

International Students House Residential Scholarships
Applications are invited for residential scholarships for the students of developing countries. Preference will be given to postgraduate students who are studying a course that will provide skills to assist in the development of their home country. Scholarships provide free accommodation at ISH for up to a year and in exceptional circumstances up to three years. Applications should be submitted till December 31st, 2013.

2014/15 IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships for Developing Countries
The postdoctoral fellowships are offered for junior scientists who intend to pursue a career in cancer research and wish to complete their training at the IARC in Lyon, France working in a research Group. The fellowship is awarded for a period of two years. Candidates are required to have finished their doctoral degree (PhD) within five years of the closing date for application, or be in the final phase of completing their doctoral degree. Deadline for application is 31 December 2013.

INSEAD MBA ’91 June Endowed Scholarship for Students of Developing Countries, 2014
INSEAD Business School is funding Need based MBA Scholarship in France, Paris. This scholarship is awarded once in a year. Scholarship award is available for disadvantaged students from developing countries who are in financial need. The deadline for applications is 13 February for the July class (starts September) 22 August for the December class (starts January).
