Since being established in 1971 as a professional salon, Baxter Institute (formally Sheila Baxter Training Centre) has evolved  into  a  well  respected,  government  accredited  training institution.

Over the past 20 years we have become leaders in the training of hair and beauty professionals. Recently we have expanded into training automotive, bakery, fabrication, business and English. We have acquired a level of expertise few training schools can match and many aspire to.
